The project involved redesigning a website for the Complutense University of Madrid and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), focused on scientific research into advanced nanosensing technologies for the environmental detection of viruses such as SARS-CoV-2.

I led the creative process and UX/UI design, working with the team to rethink the existing website and improve how the research and project objectives were communicated. We redefined the information architecture and content hierarchy, using methods such as tree testing, surveys, card sorting and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions.

The result was a redesigned website with clearer navigation, a more effective content structure and a refreshed visual identity that better reflected the innovative nature of the research.
